Precious Metal Clay is the most innovative product in recent years. Precious Metal Clay is a patented material developed in Japan in the early 1990s. An easy way to produce unique solid, hallmarkable '999' silver - a higher Silver content than normal Sterling Silver, to make jewelry and gifts. PMC is a unique product, which is fast and easy. Precious Metal Clay looks and feels like ordinary clay. Water and a non-toxic organic binder are mixed with extremely fine particles of silver. The result is a material that can be used just like clay - rolled, stretched, cast and thrown on a wheel! But then you 'fire' it with the hand held torch; the water and binder disappear - give it a brush and you're left with a unique piece of silver.
