Sculpey is soft and pliable, works and feels like ceramic clay, but will not dry out when exposed to air. Shape it into your desired form and bake according to package instructions. Mold Release Powder with a Free Brush Our personal favorite mold release product.
Mold Release Powder is the favored mold release choice. It’s safe and completely non-toxic. Dip brush in powder, then tap off the excess. Lightly dust mold cavity in a pouncing motion. Blow out excess powder to maintain detail. Each container contains 1/4 cup of Mold Release Powder. Enough to make oodles of projects! This plastic container has a press on-lid. Assorted colors.

Future® Acrylic Floor Polish (for clay!)
This is a wonderful product for finishing polymer clay pieces. Really! It can be brushed on or sprayed on. The "glaze" becomes even more durable if the piece is baked after application, to set it and make it more durable. Future will give a "slight sheen" to a "high gloss" depending on how it's applied, and how many coats are used. It dries to the touch fairly quickly (faster if applied while clay is hot) but will remain slightly tacky until fully dry, which can take 12-24 hours. Drying can be hastened, and/or "hardened" by rebaking for 10 min at 200-250°. Future can be applied at different points: To raw clay (before baking), after baking (while the clay is still hot) or after baking. (when the clay is cooled.)
